I am a few days shy of my 28th birthday and really ready to make a change instead of just dreaming about it. I guess I was hoping if I thought about it enough I would wake up at a healthy weight! Hmmm, hasn't been working so far!! Truthfully, I do workout on a regular basis and I eat healthy, but obviously, despite my denial, I must be taking in more calories than I burn....that is the simple science of it all.
I am planning this to be my healthiest year ever. I used to run all the time and I loved it. I have made many attempts to get back to it and have never remained consistent so this year I am training for a marathon....I am still looking for "The One" and it will be closer to July or Aug 08...so I will keep posting about that. If I want to run, I have to lose the 46lbs I have gained in the past 7 years....20 of it crept on in the last year. I am pretty tired of the upward trend reported on the scale and am more than ready to watch it go down!
My goal is to lose 46lbs and get to about 18-20% body fat.
