The West Carrollton trucker accused of killing his driving partner last week near LVBracelet Buffalo, N.Y., has pleaded not guilty, the Erie County (N.Y.) District Attorney's Office said Friday, Feb. 5. Rudy A. Arnette, 46, remains in jail without bond on a second- degree murder charge, secretaries in the D.A.'s office said. Arnette is accused of beating Robert L. Hardy, 43, of Miamisburg on Interstate 90 West as the two were driving to Dayton from Vermont with a trailer full of automobile parts on Jan. 26. christianaudigier wholesale Arnette's attorney, John Jordan of Buffalo, could not be reached for comment Friday. Arnette and Hardy had driven together for Falcon Transport in Youngstown since December and never got along, according to Hardy's fiance, Cindy Flora. ManchesterUnited Falcon officials have declined comment. Flora said Friday that Hardy's remains have been cremated.
