Another New Beginning

I started this site to not only motivate myself, but also to help motivate others.

Right now I feel like a failure, I went through a stage where I was losing weight and feeling amazing! Now I have put it all back on.

Tomorrow is a new day and I am determined to change my life. I am not dieting!! I refuse to diet anymore. It gets me nowhere. I need a total lifestyle change.

I want to eat healthy and exercise. Become a healthier person and be fit enough to enjoy life.

I have 2 goals.

Goal 1: Lose 10 kilos at least by 22nd December - We are going to NYC for Christmas/New Year and I want to feel healthier and fitter.

Goal 2: Be healthy enough to start trying for a baby in December. I want to cut out caffeine and alcohol.

Lets hope this is a new beginning.

7 weeks to go!

7 weeks to go until our wedding and my weight loss is going really good!

So far:

Starting weight: 103.3kg (227Lbs)

Current Weight: 95kg (209.4Lbs)

Goal Weight: 65kg 9143Lbs)

Total Lost: 8.3kg (18.2 Lbs)

I am still doing shakes and eating low carb.

I must admit I have had a few bad days. I have had some major carb cravings and know I could have lost more if I didn't act on those cravings.

Yesterday I had day surgery, so I am out of action for a few days, hopefully that won't put me too far behind!

I have dress fittings in 2 weeks and I am rather excited to see my beautiful dress for the first time! I have resided to the fact I won't be at my goal weight by the wedding, but I plan to be there by our honeymoon in December! Christmas and New Year in NYC and skiing in Aspen! I am really excited, although not looking forward to the 22hour flight to NYC!

I hope everyone is going well! It's great to see some new faces around!

Week Two

It is week two of my weight loss and it is going really well. After a huge loss of 3.2kg last week I am hoping to lose the same this week. Even 2kg would be great!

I have noticed all my clothes feel loose on me which is great because they were tight on me 2 weeks ago! I was almost ready to buy new clothes in a bigger size, but now I fit into my size 16 jeans I had in the cupboard and my size 16plus are loose. 

I have been exercising everyday(except Saturday and Sunday). Doing 15 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training. I want to do a pilates class but I get nervous doing one on my own!

The biggest thing I have done in the past two weeks is increased my water intake. I now have one glass of coke zero a day where before I would drink atleast 5-7 glasses. I now drink more then 2 litres of water and I feel amazing!

The Start To An Amazing Journey!

Welcome to MWLD (MyWeightLossDiary). I am Jennifer, the administrator and also co-owner of MWLD.

I am a real person with real weight issues and want to share my journey with the world and I hope you will join me.

I started my weight loss journey 6 days ago, I have am using meal replacement shakes and low carb eating to lose weight before my wedding in 11 weeks.

With only 12 week till the wedding I paniced, I had been on and off diets for 2-3 years and had kept saying "oh I will lose weight before the wedding" and never actually do anything. Until it hit me how close it was! So now I am planning a whole body, mind and soul transformation. I not only want to lose the weight fast and healthy but I also want to make changes in my lifestyle I can stick to.

After a week of diet and exercise I love it! I have lost 3.2kg and I have developed a new love for the gym, I even love the sore muscle feeling I get after a great workout! Makes me feel like I worked for it.

My MWLD was started to help me lose weight, I have posted on the old site on and off and never really got serious about it until now! I want to not only change my life but also help to change your life too and share the journey with you!
