Note 9 - Promise To God Diet - Anorexia Nervosa

I thought I'd just note that this type of 'diet' would be good for those with anorexia nervosa. Straight up, these individuals are committed to eating less - that works with this diet. They're also disciplined - when you think of it, they're very disciplined - going about the food intake, or lack of it, the wrong way. But you take their determination to reach their goal (a better weight goal) and their discipline to stick at it, and they should end up being their correct body weight. They could work it out with a nutritionist say, what to have on their diet. They could make their choices. I see them as very determined individuals who stick to their goal via even extreme measures. They just need a better weight goal. It's misguided food portion size and lack of understanding of how to maintain their correct body weight. I think they need more information first on where their anorexia decisions will take them. We know their goal is to be thin or slender; like a model perhaps - they're objectives leading to that goal are just unrealistic.
I saw one doctor or some authority endeavouring to make an anorexia nervosa individual eat something. It was on tv and he was trying to tell her that burgers are okay and ice-creams good and all that. I'm thinking; shouldn't he have started out with a more nutritional offering? These are people who are very particular about what goes into their body. At that point I reckon, it was a good time to start educating that person on what type of foods could get her to a healthier weight the healthy/healthier way. These individuals seem to me to have the determination, discipline and committment, just not the right diet education and objectives.
