I have decided that now is the time. My daughter is over 18 months old now, I really need to do something about this weight. The excuse "That's what having a nine pounder does" is getting lame. I used to be skinny. It was fat skinny because I was never in shape. I went from a size two, 122 pounds to a size 11, 160 pounds in less than three years. I weighed 172 the day my water broke, I was down to 152 two weeks later. I've completely let myself go. I'm only 20, I'm too young to look this bad and feel this bad. My poor husband. He's so nice for saying that he doesn't mind.
I know that you shouldn't eat one last big meal before taking the plunge. I'm not planning on gorging but I'm not planning on eating kfc again for a while after this meal. I'm going to try to work out at least 30 minutes every day, I'd like it to be an hour. I also want to try a food diary, I know I binge at certain times of the day out of sheer boredom. My overall goal is to lose 40 pounds. I know it's going to take time, I'd like to say 30 pounds by Christmas. Twenty pounds by my birthday in October.
I've never been one for exercise, I'd like to change that. I'd love to be more active and do things with my daughter when she's older. So here we go. This week my goal is to lose at least a pound, two would be nice. Here's to hoping.
